    The Paris Family

    Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

After shooting a newborn for the first time in my life last December at the Paris Family house, I was invited out again for round two! This time I came prepared! I made sure to take the photoshoot outside, brought some very fast prime lenses and made sure the venue was just perfect. So that being said, we had originally planned on heading to a small park with a baseball field and some flat grassy fields. I wasn’t too happy with the lack of variety so we ended up driving around for another 30 minutes looking up parks with my iPhone and eventually went to the Kenneth Hahn Recreational Area. That place is HUGE! It comes with such fine amenities such as a playground, waterfal, pond and an AMAZING view of downtown LA. The LA shots will have to wait for another day, so hopefully these will whet your appetite.

    The Paris Family – Preview

    Monday, March 29th, 2010

In followup to shooting baby Oliver last December at 6 months old, I had a great chance to finally take him outside to a local park and get some adorably cute images. It’s amazing how fast they change at this age. Here’s a preview!

    Presley in the Park

    Friday, December 18th, 2009

Presley is a 14 month old who doesn’t take kindly to strangers. Even if that stranger is a good friend of his mom’s. This whole shoot was quite a treat. Not only did I have to figure out how I’d force a smile or neat shot out of him, but I also had 30 minutes to work since I had to pack my bags for my Hong Kong trip that day. No big smiles and mostly tears, but it was a fun day nonetheless. Good times!

    Oliver

    Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Oliver is a 6 month old that can be described as scary cute. This blue eyed blond little kid was so easy to work with. He’d always keep eye contact with me and never shed a single tear.
